Whitening/Bleaching

Over time our teeth tend to become discolored or stained. Whether this is from smoking, coffee, or any other foods, a beautiful smile could be closer than you think. We offer a safe, inexpensive solution to an unsightly smile. Whitening your teeth is a very simple procedure that can be completed in relatively short period of time. We have many options including in-office procedures like Zoom!, custom take home treatments, and even touch-up treatments.

Procedure

The first step in the take-home whitening process is impressions. We will take full impressions of your upper and lower teeth. These impressions will be made into custom bleaching trays. The trays will fit onto your teeth perfectly so there is only a small possibility of gum irritation from the bleaching solution.

The second step is to place the bleaching solution in the trays and wear them for up to a few hours a day. Within 7-10 days, you will see a significant improvement in the color of your teeth. Your smile will look brighter and younger! We will take before and after photos so that you will be able to compare the amazing transformation.

Bleaching only works on natural teeth and may not be effective in all cases. We will inform you as to the potential whitening for your specific situation.

Whitening For Life! Program

We feel that every patient in our practice deserves to have a smile they can be proud of. In order to maintain that healthy smile, it is extremely important to keep your recommended hygiene recare appointments and receive necessary dental treatment. In fact, patients who maintain regular hygiene visits and receive recommended dental treatments spend less money on dental care on average than those who only see the dentist when they perceive a problem. Therefore, we are excited to offer our patients a program we call Whitening for Life!

Lifetime Maintenance Rules and Regulations:

1) Must maintain minimum continued dental care as treatment planned and appointed by our office.

2) Must maintain continued hygiene care by having six month hygiene appointments. If the appointment is over thirty (30) days past the six month hygiene appointment due date, then the patient is disqualified from the program.

3) Must comply with our Appointment Policies, Fees and Agreements form, and give at least 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment.

4) Must not have any outstanding balance with our office.

5) A maximum of one whitening syringe refill will be given at each hygiene recare appointment.

6) Lost or destroyed whitening trays will be replaced at cost to the patient.
