Everybody loves a bright white smile, and there are a variety of products and procedures available to help you improve the look of yours. Many people are satisfied with the sparkle they get from daily oral hygiene and regular cleanings at our office, but if you decide you would like to go beyond this to make your smile look brighter, you should investigate all of your teeth whitening options.
With each of our teeth whitening methods, we make impressions (molds) of the mouth, and then have soft custom clear mouth trays made so you will have the option to touch up at home as needed (if needed.)
We Offer Multiple Options
Laserwhite 20 In Office Teeth Whitening
The newest whitening option is with one of our lasers! This is a true laser-activated whitening system that is the most efficient whitening solution available. This combination accelerates the whitening process and takes less than 20 minutes to complete, compared to other products which require over an hour. Thus, ezlase or LaserSmile Whitening reduces overall chair time, allowing our patients to spend less time at the dental office.
Advantages of Laserwhite 20
- Reduced sensitivity
- Reduced whitening time compared to other in office systems
- Less heat generation
- Actual laser interaction with the tooth (ZOOM! uses a special light, not a laser)
- Comparable or better results to other in office whitening systems
At Home Teeth Whitening
With the at home teeth whitening system, you will be fitted with the trays, and then is instructed to place a thin ribbon of the gel into the tray and wear while sleeping. Most whitening occurs in 1 to 2 weeks. In difficult cases, trays may need to be worn for up to 6 weeks. Each patient is different so do not hesitate to call us with any questions so we can customize your experience to you.
Nothing Works Like KoR Whitening
Do you ever picture what you might look like with brighter teeth? Do you envy people with a brilliant, white smile? It’s only human. A sparkling smile is welcoming, professional, and attractive.
Stained or yellowed teeth bring your confidence down. You might find yourself avoiding smiling when you should be laughing! Whether you’re looking for a confidence booster or just want to look your best for a special event, we can help you achieve the white smile you want. We stand by the power of KoR Teeth Whitening technology.
Not every teeth whitening system is the same. You may have tried drugstore methods or even attempted whitening with your dentist only to find that you’re still not happy with your smile. We understand. That’s why we offer KoR whitening.
What makes the KoR Teeth Whitening system different?
If you’ve tried to whiten in the past and haven’t gotten the results you wanted, KoR can help you get there.
The KoR Whitening system is a step above other professional whitening systems. KoR Whitening has the ability to tackle deep stains with a non-irritating formula, so you get better results than ever before without the pain or lingering sensitivity. Whiten on your schedule with four convenient whitening schedules and opportunities. Ask Dr. Brayer which option is right for you.
High-potency gels are applied with a scientifically-designed tri-barrel application protocol. The revolutionary KoR-Seal™ Tray creates a barrier to protect the KoR Whitening gel from saliva and other contaminants that could weaken the effects of the system. This custom tray also prevents the gel from leaking out onto your gums or tongue. What does that mean in simple terms? KoR works faster, and it’s a lot easier to use than other methods of teeth whitening.
KoR gel is shipped in a refrigerated box and remains the same cold temperature as it did when it when it was made. That means the whitening gel is 100% as effective as it is meant to be. This also eliminates the need for harsh chemical stabilizers that could cause pain or sensitivity.
The magic is completely in the formula. There are no lights, lasers or gimmicks.
KoR Whitening does that other whiteners never could
The Kor Whitening System goes above and beyond to provide lasting effects. It fully rejuvenates and restores teeth, allowing them to better absorb the bleach. Pigments and stain molecules in your teeth are fully flooded by bleaching factors, which break down the large stain molecules to small colorless and white particles.
No more avoiding the beverages you love while whitening your teeth. You’ll be able to permanently maintain the level of whiteness, without giving up stain causing drinks like coffee, red wine, and tea.
Finally, a system that restores your teeth while giving you a whiter smile. No more hoping for a slight enhancement, KoR always delivers. And it’s a healthy choice.
Get started today. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your smile changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does laser whitening really make my teeth white?
Yes! Studies have shown that typical results from laser whitening range from six to twelve shades of improvement on the Vita Shade Guide Brightness Scale. When compared in similar tests, no other whitening solution consistently matches laser whitening. A common misconception of teeth whitening systems such as Zoom and BriteSmile is that they are laser teeth whitening systems – they are not. Although they are light-activated, they are not laser-activated. Laser whitening is designed to be safe and effective, and is an excellent means of bleaching and whitening dark, yellowed, or discolored teeth with extrinsic and intrinsic staining. The degree of whitening that can be achieved varies among patients based on the types of staining, enamel thickness, tooth structure, and age. But typical results range from six to twelve shades on the Vita Shade Guide Brightness Scale.
Does laser whitening work on dark stains?
Teeth with deep, intrinsic staining in the grayer tones generally will not respond as well as yellow shaded teeth. Some patients have teeth that are a natural yellow shade because enamel transparency allows the color of dentin to be visualized. In this case, patients may not show improvement after the LaserWhite20 treatment. We will discuss predictability and efficacy with the you prior to the start of the whitening process to establish realistic expectations.
How does laser whitening work?
The LaserWhite20 gel has been specifically formulated to work with Biolase diode laser systems. The laser energy is absorbed by special particles in the LaserWhite20 gel to activate the hydrogen peroxide, accelerating the whitening procedure. First, the LaserWhite20 gel is placed on the teeth. The teeth are divided into 4 sections (quadrants). Each quadrant receives two treatments of 30 seconds of laser exposure with the ezlase 940 (or four treatments of 15 seconds with the LaserSmile). Dividing the teeth into quadrants allows the laser to accelerate the whitening process while minimizing heat induced to the teeth. The gel is left on the teeth for an additional 5 minutes after the ezlase 940 laser exposures (1 minute for LaserSmile) to allow the teeth to absorb the laser-activated hydrogen peroxide, allowing continued whitening after the laser exposures. Two gel applications are required.
How long does a procedure take?
The ezlase and LaserSmile Whitening procedures with LaserWhite20 gel take less than 20 minutes, compared to over an hour for other whitening systems (Note that this does not include prep and post treatment preparation.)
