Do Quick Braces Really Work?

No more waiting years for straight teeth. No more feeling like you spend all your free time at the orthodontist. With today’s dental technology, you can have the smile you deserve in mere months.

If you’ve grown up with the idea that teeth take a long time straighten or that you must put a lot of time into perfecting your smile, you may be unsure if you can trust so-called quick braces. You might be wondering, do quick braces really work?

The answer is an unmistakeable yes.

What are quick-braces and how do they work?

When we refer to quick braces, or accelerated braces, what we’re really talking about is a combination of Invisalign and Propel. When used together, they can reduce the time braces are needed by half, meaning some patients are through their treatment in 6 months or less.

Invisalign braces are clear, removable aligners that are comfortable to wear and virtually undetectable to others. You can take them out to brush your teeth and to eat, so there’s no worry about unclean teeth or food stuck in your braces.

Every two weeks, you’ll switch to your next set of aligners to continue moving your teeth, and every 6 weeks you’ll check in with your doctor to be sure you’re progressing properly, to make any adjustments to your plan, and to receive the next few aligners. For Invisalign by itself, most treatments vary between 9-15 months.

If you’re looking to speed things up, that’s where Propel comes in. Propel is a dental technology that works with braces to accelerate your treatment. By stimulating the bone, your teeth can move to their final, straight position much faster than with Invisalign alone.

Propel is not only faster, but it means that those who patients who weren’t a candidate for Invisalign in the past may now qualified. If you were denied before, you may now be able to try Invisalign.

Try Quick Braces Yourself

If you’ve been wanting to straighten your teeth but have been unsure if you’re ready for the commitment, there’s no longer any reason to wait. If you start now, you could have the smile you’ve always dreamed of in only 6 months!

When you set up an appointment with your orthodontist, you’ll even be able to see how your teeth will look at the end of your treatment, so you can begin imagining yourself with a perfect smile straight away.
