Family Promise Cardboard Box City photos and Update

What a great year it was for Family Promise of Pinellas County!

Dr. Brayer’s kids asked for donations from local businesses. Of course she said yes to her kids and Creating Smiles Dental sponsored a box for $50. St. Pete Dentist for the New Choice Card for Veterans

New Choice Card for Veterans can be used at our dental office!

As of November 5th 2014, some veterans can take advantage of the choice program with their new choice card which is for veterans. With this card, if their zoned veteran’s administration facility can not see them for their dental needs, they can come to us. There is a large grant to be used for veterans to be used now. We see new patients and appreciate our veterans so spread the word!

Creating Smiles Dental donates to food and toy drive

We at Creating Smiles Dental along with our patients and others in our community are collecting non-perishable foods like boxes and cans as well as Toys for Tots items for our food and toy drive. We will collecting food mostly for Thanksgiving and toys mostly for December but will accept both through the holiday season.

Creating Smiles Dental supports Family Promise

On November 14th 2014, Dr. Brayer, of Creating Smiles Dental, and her family of 3 children are going to be sleeping in cardboard boxes to help fight homelessness. The week of November 9th is Homeless Awareness Week. This event takes place that week. Families are willing to give up their own beds to sleep in a cardboard box to raise the awareness AND the money to give a bed to somebody who does not have one. Dr. Brayer Volunteers at Gulf Coast Dental Outreach

Dr. Brayer Volunteers with GCDODr. Brayer volunteers a couple of times a year with Gulf Coast Dental Outreach, GCDO. She provides free dental services to patients who qualify financially. This specific patient values his dental health so much that he rides his bike up to Dunedin from St. Pete beach to get the work done at the extremely discounted rate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Most visits are just $25 no matter what is done that day. The clinic is only opened on Fridays since the office is a normal general practice Monday through Thursday. This is a wonderful service to our community. From Read the rest
