Kid Friendly Beach Clean Up with the Little Explorers

Kid Friendly Beach Clean Up

It’s so important to teach our kids to serve others, but it’s difficult to find service projects that are friendly to toddlers.

The kids had the most fun of anyone at our last clean up so we’re going to do one on a Friday morning (while most of us work) just for kids and families! Dr. Brayer is sad she will miss this one but she is happy to provide the gloves and prizes to help keep the beach beautiful!

On Friday November 7, 2014, meet at 10am at the John’s Pass Park metered parking lot, which is at the corner of Gulf Blvd. and 129th Avenue West in Madeira Beach right before the bridge. (If you need an exact address for your GPS, put in the address of the Beach Place Condos, which are at 12901 Gulf Ln., Madeira Beach. The condos are right next to the parking lot.)

Meet us on the sand, where we’ll be handing out gloves and plastic grocery bags that you can use to pick up trash and other debris at your own pace. This should not take that long, so when your little ones are done, they can return to the shaded pavilion in the parking lot, where we will be handing out popsicles and bottled waters as a ‘thank you.’ You could even win a prize for the grossest, biggest or most interesting item picked from the beach! The prizes will include PerioSciences antioxidant gel which is safe for kids too! It’s like Neosporine for the mouth.

After we’re done cleaning up, the Little Explorers will bring their picnic lunches out to the sand to eat lunch and let the kids play. We will join them to make it a beach day! Looking forward to seeing you there!littleexplorersmadeira
