Regional Manager

Sarah has been involved in this amazing company and project to help people be happy and healthy for over 22 years. She has been with Creating Smiles Dental since August 2012 and loves the science, technology, and true patient care we operate here. She now has a family of 5 she is very grateful for. Sarah takes pride in her home life and cares for a family at work (patients and employees) that brings fulfillment. Sarah’s family consists of an amazing 18 year old scared to let go, a 4-year-old autistic son that gives challenges yet inspiration and joy every day, and the pleasure of extended family a brilliant 14 year old. Her family loves to do activities outside, eat great food, and taking the time to enjoy each other. Her goals are to be the best mom and manager, and assist in making people’s smiles happy and healthy! This profession and office have built her urge to dig deeper and fight against non-education of health and family! Sarah works with impossible insurance companies for patients to get their care. She loves her team and doctors and cannot wait to see how we can improve our care every day!

Jessica

St. Pete Office Manager

Jessica graduated from the University of South Florida with her Bachelor’s degree from the School of Business for Entrepreneurship. She began working with Creating Smiles Dental in February 2018. She spends her time working on all financial obligations dealing with insurances and collections and will eventually take on more of an office management position in the future. She is looking forward to her new chapter with our Creating Smiles family. Jessica has a 12-year-old son named Chris and loves to spend time with family and friends. She also likes to travel and make new memories

Emilie

Treatment Coordinator

Emilie has wanted to work in a dental office her entire life. She is pursuing her future going into dental hygiene school. She got married in the Fall of 2016 and spent her honeymoon in the Eastern Caribbean. She works up front as our receptionist since she has been in customer service since 2007 and is our assistant treatment coordinator. She is also cross-training to be a dental assistant. Her friendly warm smile and enthusiasm for dentistry greet our patients. Emilie believes a person’s smile is their best trait and feels that if someone has a healthy smile, the more confident they will feel. Emilie has been to Spain twice since quite a bit of her family lives there. She enjoys spending time with close friends and family. She would like to travel more and see the world. She likes listening to music, her cat is her baby girl and she wouldn’t trade her for anything. She also loves cooking and decorating her home.

Cristina

Treatment Coordinator

Cristina is a Tampa native and has lived in the area her entire life. She just got married in December 2017 and has two wonderful stepchildren and two amazing dogs. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and friends, and always enjoys a good book. She has been working in the dental field since 2016 and loves helping patients get their smiles back!

Lead Dental Assistant

TuAnh came here from Vietnam after she married Michael, our in-house lab technician. She quickly learned English and picked up dental assisting with ease. She worked here for years before she opened a local St. Petersburg business, the Alyssa Café, named for her and Michael’s young daughter. But her heart is here with dentistry and her family so we are so grateful to have her back.

Dental Lab Technician

Michael is Dr. Brayer’s brother. He has grown up in the dental office since his parents were dentists in Vietnam. His work is excellent. Our patients say all the time how they wish they knew about our dentures years ago because they fit so comfortably and look so natural. He offers same day denture repairs and does lots of other dental magic back in the lab.

Dental Assistant

Dena is a native Floridian born and raised in St. Petersburg. She attended Osceola High School; after graduation, she went straight to PTEC for her dental assistant degree. She has been a dental assistant ever since 1994 and loves her position. She has 2 sisters and 3 brothers, and a son named Jared; Jared is 16 years old and plays wide receiver and point guard for the Boca Ciega High School football team. The other babies in her life are her 8-year-old Pitbull and Chesapeake Bay mix retriever named Nayla and her 2-year-old Victorian Bulldog named Lucy. She has recently caught the travel bug so that will be her new adventure in life.

Tera

Appointment Coordinators

Tera is originally from Wisconsin and is proud to be a Floridian since 2019 and absolutely loves the warm weather. She joined Creating Smiles Dental in 2020 and loves meeting all of the wonderful patients who walk through the door. While this is Tera’s first time working in a dental office she brings with her years of experience in customer service and sees to it that our patients are taken care of from the moment she greets them at the front desk. Outside of work she is a beach girl at heart and just about every weekend you can find her on there. She has a son who is in college up in Wisconsin and hopes one day he will relocate down here as well.

Dana

Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Dana has been with Creating Smiles Dental since June of 2019. She has been in the dental field since 2003. She loves everything about the dental field, from learning all the latest technology to helping patients with their smiles. She loves making personal connections with patients, especially if she can put their dental anxiety at ease. She was born in Orlando, Florida, grew up in Clermont, then moved to the secret little haven called St. Pete. She has two beautiful children. Her favorite things to do are watch sports, travel, and spend time with her family and friends.

Jessica graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer Sciences in Nutrition from the University of Georgia in 2005. She worked in sales for a Fortune 500 company for several years all along knowing her heart and calling was somewhere else. She proceed to go back to school and achieved her Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2012 from West Georgia Technical College. For many years she was active in American Board of Dental Hygiene Association in Georgia, Wisconsin and Florida.

Dental Hygienist

Jesseca graduated from St. Petersburg College with her Associates in Science in 2014. She then continued her education at St. Petersburg College and graduated in 2016 with her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. She is an active member in both West Coast Dental Hygienists’ Association and American Dental Hygiene Association. For the West Coast Dental Hygienists’ Association, she is the current web designer/social media guru and also a board member. She enjoys volunteering as a Dental Hygienist in her community and giving back to those in need.

Dental Hygienist

Tiffany Feger, RDH, BASDH has been in the dental field since 2001. She graduated with Honors from St. Petersburg College, School of Dental Hygiene in 2005. She has been working with Dr. Brayer and Dr. Nguyen since that time. She went on to attain her Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene Degree in May of 2007. She loves the relationships she has made with our patients here and also volunteers in our community monthly cleaning more teeth at Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP).

Dental Hygienist

Carly graduated with her associate’s degree in 2013, her associate’s degree in 2015, her bachelor’s degree in 2017, and is currently working on her master’s degree. Not only is she a hygienist at our practice, but she is also an adjunct instructor for the dental hygiene program at St. Petersburg College and owns her own business with her mother, Vitamin Sea Mosaics, for fun. Outside of being a student, employee, and business owner, she is a wife, mom, and beach bum. One of her favorite hobbies is chasing the sun.

Daymar

Dental Hygienist

Daymar graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1996 with her associates in Dental Hygiene. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and volunteers with her coworkers at various oral health events. She loves her profession and educating her patients is very important to her.

Dental Hygienist

She received her degree in Dentistry from the Centro Escolar University in Manila, and promptly became an active member of the Philippine Dental Association. She practiced for several years in Angeles City, and served as the treasurer of the Angeles City Chapter of the Philippine Dental Association for three consecutive years. While running her own clinic in the city, she also received further training in Functional Jaw Orthopedics and TMJ.
