We have been fortunate to have Giang on our team since 2009. She started her education at the University of Technology at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. She then worked as an office administrator. When she moved to the United States, Giang then continued her education here in St. Petersburg at PTEC where she received her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certificate.
In addition to being our lead assistant, Giang uses her office administration skills and is cross-trained, helping with the front desk as needed. She assists all of the doctors including the specialists in our practice who want to only work with her. When not at work, Giang spends her free time with her husband and two young children.
TuAnh came here from Vietnam after she married Michael, our in-house lab technician. She quickly learned English and picked up dental assisting with ease. She worked here for years before she opened a local St. Petersburg business, the Alyssa Café, named for her and Michael’s young daughter. But her heart is here with dentistry and her family so we are so grateful to have her back.
Michael is Dr. Brayer’s brother. (They are Dr. and Mrs. Nguyen’s children.) He has grown up in the dental office since his parents were dentists in Vietnam. His work is excellent. Our patients say all the time how they wish they knew about our dentures years ago because they fit so comfortably and look so natural. He offers same day denture repairs and does lots of other dental magic back in the lab.

Her friendly warm smile and enthusiasm for dentistry greet our patients. Emilie believes a person’s smile is their best trait and feels that if someone has a healthy smile, the more confident they will feel. Emilie has been to Spain twice since quite a bit of her family lives there. She enjoys spending time with close friends and family. She would like to travel more and see the world. She likes listening to music, her cat is her baby girl and she wouldn’t trade her for anything. She also loves cooking and decorating her home.
